My Journey
In September 2014 I embarked upon a 20 month journey around the world. These pictures are a representation of the beauty, struggle, and joy I found along the way. For those that followed along, offered support or companionship during my time away - thank you! It was an internal and external journey that I will never forget. Below you can find a collection of those albums plus new ones that I create along this latest segment. Follow along or browse by region/country. Enjoy!
This is the first phase of my latest journey. Follow along as I post sights from above and below Tahiti, Moorea, Fakarava, Rangiroa.
I'm normally not much of a sightseer, but am always up for exploring the world with friends. Really enjoyed the few weeks I got to spend with this bunch jumping around the major sights of China staying with friends and relatives. Lots of people, lots of rain, but a great way nonetheless to ease back into travel mode.. Shots from Beijing, Qingdao, Tai'an, Mount Tai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, & Macau.
It's been almost three months since the earthquake in Nepal. Knowing that many of these structures did not survive was something I had to learn to cope with and is the biggest reason why I waited so long to share. But perhaps posting this now will help showcase the people and beauty of the country as they continue working to rebuild. I saw and experienced a lot of things post-quake that overshadowed this experience, but this is the Nepal I choose to remember. The three weeks I spent on the trail from Manaslu to Annapurna is an experience that I will forever cherish.
It's difficult to do justice to the sights, sounds, and smells that accompany the indescribable India. The only way to really know it is to come and feel the chaos for yourself! Completed a 30 day whirlwind tour of Delhi, Agra, Shimla, Rishikesh, Jaipur, Hampi, Goa, Kochi, Varkala, & southern Kerala. Wish I had time for more.. Until we meet again.
A little from Huaraz, Peru and a whole lot of Chilean / Argentinian Patagonia. Tierra del Fuego, Torres del Paine, el Chalten, Fitzroy range, glacier trekking..
A 13 day Summer time Antarctic expedition. A dream filled journey with magical landscapes, worldly people, and quirky wildlife. An ice lined romantic dreamland with water sculptures sitting on reflective glass, and tuxedoed jesters at every turn.
Two weeks in quito studying spanish, a week in El Oriente / the Amazon, and two weeks on the Galápagos Islands.
Stop number 1 - Panama City, Santa Catalina, isla de coiba, Boquete, Bocas del Toro, Colon, Panama Canal
Highlights from my time in Tongatapu, Vava’u, and ‘Eua
